Metro Connect is an intercity bus service connecting the upper and lower Valley. The red line connects McAllen to Brownsville (with connections to Valley Transit Company’s Harlingen Terminal and Rio Grande Valley Premium Outlets), the blue line connects Brownsville to South Padre Island, and the green line connects the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg to McAllen. Planned hours of operation are Monday through Sunday from 5:20 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
